July 4th Holiday

We sold the boat and the camper (sigh)... so our summer plans have been somewhat limited. We can borrow Marcus' parents camper almost anytime - however, Marcus is having back issues again and we haven't wanted to risk him injurying his back more. So we had a fairly uneventful July 4th weekend.

We took the kids to Elitches on Saturday. On Sunday (July 4th) the weather wasn't so great. We were REALLY lazy all day, then threw some chicken on the barbeque and set off our own fireworks. The local firework display got cancelled due to rain.
